The TIP OF THE WRITING BRUSH

The poems collected under the title TIP OF THE WRITING BRUSH have only one purpose and that is the hastening of Single Hearted Salvation for all mankind.

Composed by Miki Nakayama between 1869 and 1882. The poems, crafted as hand written manuscripts and given to individuals to hasten their spiritual awakening, are now commonly collected into seventeen books or chapters. Owing to the fact that each book was composed with the object of overcoming misunderstandings both general to all human beings  and specific to an individual at a particular time and place and level of spiritual maturity each of the books has its own distinct flavor.

Since the realization of the Original truth that the poems hasten exists prior to ideas that truth cannot be embraced by ideas. Thus the poems don't add any information to our worldly common knowledge, there are no ideas offered as truths. The poems are are not intended for that. What they are intended to do is to remove our ignorance of our true Origin. The poems then are tools for moving the human mind from the "worldly common" to the "one truth of any and everything". They have the power to return and  transform the mind and they are fun to play with.

Just a word. As the poems were addressed to particular misunderstandings it is important to separate the dialog of the poems into the two fundamental points of view that are represented. One of spiritual awakening and one of misunderstanding. The one view is joyous and the other is not.

The global audience for poetry is rather small. The audience for these poems is of course much smaller still. If you can appreciate the impact of poetic metaphor on your mind then you may want to jump right in. If you would like some help with the ingredients for the "family recipe" and are not sure where to start then drop me a line. I'm at your service.  Either way all are welcome to come out and play.
