This universe is the body of God.

Ponder this in all matters.

My comment on verse 30 to 52, Part 4:

As always, John gives us thorough interpretation of Ofudesaki verses. I have little to add to what John commented on these verses.

Three verses:

Do not wonder what this talk is about

It is solely about the matter of the fertilizer v50

This fertilizer: do not wonder what is effective

The mind's true sincerity is its effectiveness v51

When I have discerned your mind of sincerity

know that I shall provide any protection v52

Let's assume that each of us has a patch of farmland. The farmland needs constant care like weeding and fertilizing so as to be productive. Seeds planted grow well, resulting in good harvest.

Each of us has a lot of seeds to plant. Some of us are born with seeds that will grow to be a successful businessman, a good artist, an athlete, or a scholar. Some other are not so talented, but still have seeds that will build their future.

What if we forget to put in fertilizer to the land? Some seeds just never sprout. Some other seeds grow to only a certain extent, but not to the fullest extent.

We all need the fertilizer all the time. And according to Ofudesaki, the effective fertilizer is the mind's true sincerity.

The mind of true sincerity understands that the intention of God's Creation is the Joyous Life, that God provides, and that we contribute and dedicate to the intended path.

Daily thoughts and actions based on these understanding works like the fertilizer. The first inquiry email I received this year is from a lady in Hokkaido. Her husband has declared there is someone else. They are contemplating divorce, only she is not willing and asking for help. Malfunctioning of the marriage life is like the land with little fertilizer. The first-aid cure is that at least one of them begin to fertilize.

All human bodies are things lent by God.

With what thought are you using them?
