There are numerous examples of human activities that have the expectation that at least some people will carry them out perfectly without having to think about what they are doing. In fact thinking during those activities is viewed as a loss of concentration.
People who "taste" the perfection of any given performance, often end up longing to repeat the experience. Such experiences of perfection are given to the totally sincere mind like clear water. That is the natural and original mind of true sincerity.
The direct "Broad Main Path" shows the way to return the mind to this very desirable condition quickly and easily. Where the "Broad Main Path" differs from the momentary experience of the joy understood through peak performance is in the intention that a mind thus settled, concentrated and focused is employed in pondering the truth that the whole universe is an original single being.
The mind that naturally understands that truth, without the intervention of any thought is the free and unlimited mind that is single-hearted with God. It is the mind of single-hearted salvation. The mind of joyous life.
If you can experience the perfection of anything, even being a perfect fool, then turn that mind toward the one truth and settle that understanding as a free and unlimited joyous life.
